The context
Their photographer was excellent, and the couple knew it: the ceremony and the portraits would be beautiful. But they ALSO wanted the rest: the day as seen by their guests, the behind the scenes moments, the table's fits of laughter, and above all the little notes that come with a photo taken from the heart.
The problem
On Instagram, everything was fleeting: gorgeous stories, gone within 24 hours, never tagged, impossible to gather back up.
On WhatsApp, it was worse: grandma couldn't manage it, videos arrived cut short or in poor quality, and files got lost among the conversations. Collecting the material from the best day of their lives was turning into a full time job.
The solution
A card with a QR code on every table, announced once by the DJ. Three steps for each guest: scan, choose their photos and videos, send. No app, no account: grandma got the hang of it just as fast as the witnesses did.
Everyone could add a caption to what they sent and leave a note in the guestbook, along with a selfie.
The result
The couple got their whole wedding back: the photographer's photos for the art, the guests' photos for the life, with everyone's comments attached. The videos arrived in original quality, in full.
And the digital guestbook, linked to faces, became their favorite item: everyone's words, from everyone who was there, to reread forever.
