Last updated: August 10, 2026
This document is provided in English for informational purposes only. Only the French version is legally binding, and it is governed by French law.
Article 1: Purpose
These general terms of use (hereinafter the "Terms") set out the procedures and conditions for using the Huskox service (hereinafter the "Service"), accessible from the huskox.com site (and its temporary technical address huskox.vercel.app), as well as the rights and obligations of the people who use it.
Huskox is a service for collecting and sharing photos and videos related to an event (wedding, birthday, party, corporate event, etc.). It allows an organizer to create an album linked to their event, and allows that event's guests to upload their photos and videos to the album, with no account required, via a link or a QR code.
The Service is a studjoow service (studjoow.com), published by John Houzi, sole proprietor (micro-entrepreneur), registered under number 337927834, whose registered office is located at 49 Abarbanel, Tel Aviv. VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code. The publication director is John Houzi. The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (United States); the host's full contact details appear in the site's legal notice. Huskox can be reached at hello@huskox.com.
Use of the Service constitutes full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms. The financial terms applicable to the Organizer (offers, pricing, payment) are set out in separate general terms and conditions of sale, available on the site.
Article 2: Definitions
In these Terms, the following terms have the meaning given below:
- "Organizer": the person who subscribes to the Service, creates an event, and manages the album associated with it.
- "Guest": any person who accesses an event's page via the link or QR code provided by the Organizer, and who may view the album or upload Content to it, with no account required.
- "User": the Organizer or the Guest, as applicable.
- "Content": the photos, videos, and, where applicable, messages uploaded to an album via the Service.
- "Event": the event created by the Organizer on the Service, to which an album is linked.
Article 3: Access to the Service
3.1 Organizer Access
The Organizer accesses their personal space by means of a single-use sign-in link (magic link) sent to their email address: no password is created, requested, or stored. Their means of access are personal: the Organizer undertakes not to share them with third parties and to notify Huskox promptly in the event of unauthorized use of their access. The Organizer is responsible for the accuracy of the email address they provide.
3.2 Guest Access
Guests access the Event page with no account required, via the link or QR code provided to them by the Organizer. This link provides access to the album for the relevant Event, within the limits set by the Organizer.
The Organizer is solely responsible for distributing their Event's link or QR code. It is up to them to share it only with the people they wish to see participate.
3.3 Technical Requirements
Access to the Service requires an internet connection and compatible equipment (a recent computer, tablet, or smartphone). Connection and equipment costs remain the responsibility of the User.
Article 4: Rules for Uploading Content
4.1 User Warranties
Any User who uploads Content warrants that they hold all the rights and authorizations necessary over that Content, in particular that they are its author or have obtained the consent of the rights holders, as well as, where applicable, the consent of any identifiable persons appearing in the photos or videos concerned.
4.2 Prohibited Content
It is strictly prohibited to upload via the Service any Content that is:
- unlawful, or contrary to public order or public decency;
- hateful, abusive, discriminatory, defamatory, or that incites violence;
- sexually explicit in nature;
- infringing on the rights of third parties, in particular image rights, privacy, copyright, or any other intellectual property right;
- unrelated to the Event and uploaded with intent to harm, harass, or divert the Service from its purpose.
Huskox reserves the right to remove any Content contrary to this article, under the conditions set out in Article 7.
Article 5: Image Rights and Informing Guests
The Organizer is responsible for informing their guests about the collection of photos and videos carried out as part of their Event, as well as the use they intend to make of them (for example: compiling a memory album, sharing among participants).
[à compléter : confirm what the event page actually displays to guests regarding this collection (informational text, scope of use); describe here only what actually exists.] It is up to the Organizer to ensure that this information is brought to their guests' attention before or at the time of collection.
Each Guest who uploads Content also remains bound by the warranties set out in Article 4.1, in particular with respect to identifiable persons in their photos and videos.
Article 6: Ownership of Content and License Granted to Huskox
6.1 Ownership of Content
Photos and videos uploaded via the Service remain the property of their authors, that is, the Guests or the Organizer who uploaded them. Use of the Service does not transfer any intellectual property rights to Huskox.
6.2 Limited License
By uploading Content, the User grants Huskox a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license, for the sole duration that the Content is retained on the Service, authorizing Huskox to host, store, and transcode this Content and to generate thumbnails from it, solely to the extent necessary to provide the Service (display within the album, download by authorized persons).
Huskox expressly refrains from:
- any commercial reuse of the Content;
- any use of the Content to train artificial intelligence models;
- any disclosure of the Content to third parties outside the provision of the Service.
Article 7: Moderation, Reporting, and Removal
7.1 Moderation by the Organizer
The Organizer may at any time delete any Content from their album, without having to justify their decision.
7.2 Reporting
Anyone may report Content they believe to be contrary to these Terms or to the law by writing to hello@huskox.com, specifying the Event concerned and the Content in question.
7.3 Removal by Huskox
Huskox reserves the right to remove, without notice, any Content that is manifestly contrary to Article 4.2 or to the law, whether brought to its attention through a report or by any other means.
Article 8: Retention Period and Deletion of Content
An Event's Content remains online and retrievable for the duration of the gallery provided under the chosen package: 12 months (Photo package) or 24 months (Photo + Video package and Go storage tiers), unless an extension is agreed with Huskox under the conditions set out in the general terms and conditions of sale. Throughout this period, the Organizer may download the entire album, in its original quality and without watermark.
The Organizer is notified before the gallery expires. Upon expiration, an additional 30-day period still allows them to retrieve any Content they wish to keep. After this period, the album is closed and the Content is deleted from Huskox's systems and can no longer be restored.
Article 9: Availability of the Service
Huskox undertakes to provide the Service diligently and in accordance with best practice, within the framework of a best-efforts obligation. Huskox does not guarantee that the Service will be accessible without interruption or free of errors.
Access to the Service may be suspended temporarily, in particular for maintenance or update operations or in the event of a failure, without Huskox's liability being engaged as a result. Where possible, Huskox informs the Organizer of scheduled interruptions likely to affect an ongoing Event.
Article 10: Suspension in the Event of Abuse
In the event of a serious or repeated breach of these Terms by a User, in particular in the event of uploading prohibited Content, fraudulent use of the Service, or a breach affecting its security or proper functioning, Huskox reserves the right to suspend the access of the User concerned to the Service, or access to the Event concerned, without notice.
Where circumstances permit, Huskox informs the Organizer of the suspension and its reasons. The suspension does not give rise to any compensation.
Article 11: Liability
Huskox acts as a host of the Content uploaded by Users. Huskox does not exercise prior control over the Content and cannot be held liable for Content uploaded by Users, subject to promptly removing it once its manifestly unlawful nature is brought to its attention.
Each User is solely responsible for the Content they upload and for their use of the Service. The Organizer is additionally responsible for distributing their Event's link and for informing their guests, under the conditions set out in Article 5.
Article 12: Personal Data
The processing of personal data carried out as part of the Service (the Organizer's data, Guests' photos and videos) is described in the site's Privacy Policy, accessible at the /confidentialite page of the site.
For photos and videos uploaded in connection with an Event, the Organizer is the data controller, as they decide the purpose of the album and invite their guests to contribute to it, and Huskox acts solely as processor within the meaning of article 28 GDPR: Huskox hosts and processes this Content solely on behalf of the Organizer and on their instructions, without using it for its own purposes.
Article 13: Changes to the Terms
Huskox may change these Terms at any time, in particular to reflect changes to the Service or to applicable regulations. The version in effect is the one applicable at the time the Service is used. In the event of a material change, Organizers with an ongoing Event will be notified by email.
Article 14: Applicable Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, the User is invited to first contact Huskox at hello@huskox.com in order to seek an amicable solution. In accordance with the provisions of the French Consumer Code, a consumer User may also have free recourse to a consumer mediator: [à compléter : name and contact details of the designated consumer mediator].
Failing an amicable resolution, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts under ordinary law.
