Huskox

A Studjoow project

A website every guest reads their own way

A wedding brings every generation together, and a supplier's website is read by all of them: the bride-to-be on her phone, her grandmother on a tablet, a dyslexic best man looking for the venue's address. Octeasy, from the same studio as Huskox, adds a small button to a site that lets everyone adjust the display to the way they read.

What exactly is it?

Octeasy is a reading comfort widget: a discreet 58 px button in a corner of the site that opens a panel of 27 settings. Visitors choose the text size, font, spacing, colours and contrast, or one of 8 ready-made profiles such as "See better", "Read easily" or "Senior comfort". They also get a reading ruler, a reading mask, a magnifier and read-aloud using the voices installed on their device. No cookies, no trackers: their settings stay in their browser.

Huskox makes sure no guest is left out on the big day: no app, no account, just a scan. Octeasy brings the same idea to reading a website: nobody has to install anything, and everyone reads in comfort, from eyes tired by screens to glasses left in the car.

What you'll find there

  • 27 settings and 8 reading profiles, including "Senior comfort" and "Read easily" for dyslexia
  • Larger text, wider line spacing, underlined links and large click areas
  • Read-aloud with the device's own voices, with no text sent to an online service
  • No cookies, no trackers, no audience measurement
  • One line of script, a WordPress plugin, a PrestaShop module and guides for Wix, Shopify or Squarespace
  • Free for one site, then €9 excl. VAT per month on the Essential plan (indicative price)

Why it's worth a visit

01

Visitors always get every feature, even when the site is on the free plan.

02

A single file of about 29 KB, loaded without holding up the page.

03

As long as nobody touches it, your site stays exactly as you designed it.

04

A whole page explains what Octeasy does not do: plain talk, with no promise a widget cannot keep.

Octeasy, in six questions

Do my visitors need to install anything?

No, nothing at all: they click the button, pick a setting or a profile, and the page changes right away.

Does Octeasy replace an accessibility audit?

No. It is a reading comfort tool: it does not replace an audit or fixes to the site itself, and it offers no legal protection.

Does it work on a Wix or WordPress site?

Yes. One line of script works on any site, there is a WordPress plugin, and a guide covers installation on Wix, Shopify, Squarespace, Webflow and more.

How much does it cost?

The Free plan covers one site, forever. Essential costs €9 excl. VAT per month and Pro €29 excl. VAT per month for 5 sites, as indicative prices.

Does it set cookies?

No cookies and no trackers. Settings stay in the visitor's browser, and only if they changed something.

Who is behind Octeasy?

Studjoow, John Houzi's studio, which also designed and built Huskox.
